Prepare for an Apartment Cleanout Estimate

1. Photograph the job

Take wide photos of each room or removal zone, then add close views of unusually heavy, damaged, or hard-to-identify items.

2. Describe access

Include the apartment floor, stair count, elevator dimensions or reservation rules, hallway turns, gate codes, parking limits, and walking distance to loading space.

3. Separate special materials

Flag appliances, screens, batteries, chemicals, paint, fuel, pressurized containers, medical waste, and unknown liquids before work is scheduled.

4. Confirm authority and timing

State who can authorize removal, when possession changes, and the final date the unit must be clear. A request is not an appointment until the operator confirms it.
